Donations to the Hut 9 Preservation Group

Amongst the many donations to the Preservation group was this painting. It depicts Island Farm, .........painted by someone closely associated with the POW camp - none other than Garfield Davies. Mr Davies was the farmer mentioned in Herbert Williams' book "Come out wherever you are"........the farmer ploughing the field, who came dangerously close to foiling the escape by ploughing within spitting distance of the stone covering the exit of the tunnel. The person who donated this painting drove all the way up from Amanford to pass it on to us. How cool is that! THANK YOU SO MUCH...
